Every time I think of petersburg I think of the historic petersburg hotel where I stayed while visiting my parents back in the 1990s. There are two reasons I like this place so much. The first is that it is a hotel. Not just a hotel, a truly historic hotel built in 1890. The second reason is that it is the oldest hotel in the entire state of Virginia.

The hotel is located in the heart of the small town of petersburg, just a little more than a mile from the state’s capitol building, hence the name. It is a historic building, but it’s also a great place to stay. The rooms are in a classic Victorian style with antique fixtures, and everything looks great. The one thing I don’t like is that the main desk is in the middle of the room.

I have never been to a hotel this old before. But I have been to a few historic hotels and nothing compares to this one. The rooms are old-fashioned, but all the same, I feel like I am staying in a time machine.

The building even has a lovely restaurant, and the staff is very helpful. It is conveniently located in the heart of the city, just a few blocks from the capitol building. It is the perfect place to shop (a few blocks from the capitol, which is a must see), shop for gifts, and visit with friends and family. The staff was very accommodating, and made me feel very welcome. I will definitely stay here again.

I am the type of person who will organize my entire home (including closets) based on what I need for vacation. Making sure that all vital supplies are in one place, even if it means putting them into a carry-on and checking out early from work so as not to miss any flights!
